Child Arrangements

We have a wealth of experience in dealing with children matters. We are aware that a sensitive, constructive and non-confrontational approach to settling differences is usually beneficial. Where children are involved, we always advise clients that, whenever possible, there needs to be a continuing positive working relationship between parents after separation. We can provide you with specific advice in relation to your particular case including the prospects of succeeding in any application to the Court.

Areas of expertise include the following: –

  • Contact (access arrangements)
  • Residence (with whom the children shall live)
  • Specific issues (for example, the choice of schools)
  • Parental responsibility (making the big decisions about a child’s upbringing)
  • Taking your child abroad (if this is even for a holiday, did you know that you could be breaking the law?)

We are accustomed to putting together applications (and the most persuasive arguments) to ensure that the Court views your case in the best possible way.
